WhatsApp Developing 'Alternate Profile' Feature for Separate Personal and Work Accounts

WhatsApp is working on a new "Alternate profile" feature that allows a secondary profile picture and name.

This alternate profile will be shown to contacts who are not allowed to see your primary profile details.

Useful for work numbers or businesses to keep personal and professional profiles separate.

Feature is still in development, not available to beta testers yet.

For now, account switching can be used to juggle between two WhatsApp accounts.
