U.S. Job Growth Slows in October, Adding 113,000 Jobs: ADP Report

Hiring by U.S. companies increased less than expected in October according to ADP report, adding 113,000 jobs compared to 150,000 forecast.

Wage growth continued to moderate, with annual pay rising 5.7% in October.

Education and health services drove the biggest job gains, adding 45,000 employees.

Data comes ahead of more closely watched October jobs report from Labor Dept. on Friday.

ADP numbers can differ from government count, have historically been unreliable indicator.
