Princeton Student Gets 2 Months in Prison for Participating in Jan. 6 Capitol Riot

Larry Fife Giberson, a Princeton Univ. student at the time, sentenced to 2 months in prison for storming Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Giberson, 19 years old during riot, pleaded guilty to interfering with police in tunnel on Lower West Terrace.

Judge called his conduct "reprehensible" but gave lighter sentence due to his youth and remorse.

Giberson was political science major with interest in Constitutional law and concerns about 2020 election.
