PayPal Granted Limited UK Crypto Services Approval After Brief October Suspension

PayPal received approval from the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to offer crypto services as of October 31, 2023.

PayPal has restrictions on the crypto activities it can offer, including onboarding new customers and limiting existing ones.

This comes after PayPal briefly halted UK users from buying crypto in early October.

The UK is becoming a major crypto economy, with London named the world's most crypto-ready city.

PayPal is the 4th firm to get FCA crypto registration after Interactive Brokers, Bitstamp, and Komainu.
