United Airlines Sued by Flight Attendants for Alleged Discrimination in Sports Charter Staffing

Two United Airlines flight attendants filed a lawsuit alleging discrimination in staffing charter flights for the LA Dodgers baseball team.

The attendants claim they were passed over in favor of younger, thinner, predominantly white and blonde female coworkers.

The plaintiffs allege harassment, discrimination based on age, race, national origin and religion.

The women have worked for United for over 15 years but were repeatedly denied these lucrative sports team charter assignments.

A prior lawsuit against United for similar discriminatory staffing practices was settled in 2020, but the plaintiffs claim the issues arose again in 2022.
