Métisse Teams Up with McQueen Family to Release Limited Edition Replica of His Custom 1960s Desert Racer

British motorcycle maker Métisse teams up with Steve McQueen's family to release a limited-edition replica of his customized Mk3 desert racer.

The new bike is based on the exact two-wheeler McQueen customized and raced himself in the 1960s.

Features include a hand-built chrome moly frame, Ceriani forks, Triumph 650cc engine, and 21-inch chrome wire wheels.

Only 300 examples will be built, available to order now through Métisse's website.

Pricing is undisclosed but likely very high, given another recent Mk3 replica sold for $28,000.
