Microsoft Removes Pre-Installed Movies & TV App in Latest Windows 11 Build

Microsoft is removing the pre-installed Movies & TV app from Windows 11 in upcoming builds. It will still be available in the Microsoft Store.

The change applies to new Windows 11 installs starting with build 25987 and beyond.

Upgraders will keep the Movies & TV app. Purchased movies/shows will still be accessible.

The Canary build adds a driver install option for setups lacking Wi-Fi drivers.

Other changes include UI tweaks to Delivery Optimization and metadata support for PNG files.
