American Tourist Visits Luxembourg on a $10 Budget, Can Only Afford a Croissant and Coffee

American tourist Eli Snyder visited Luxembourg, the world's richest country, with a $10 budget to see what he could buy.

Public transportation is free in Luxembourg, but he spent over half his budget on a croissant ($3.66) and iced coffee ($5.94).

A Big Mac costs $13.38 in Luxembourg, more than in Denmark and Switzerland. In the U.S. a Big Mac costs $3.91-$5.31.

With his $10 budget, Eli only managed to buy a croissant and coffee in Luxembourg.

Followers commented that things seem even more expensive in parts of the U.S., with $7 coffees and $5 croissants being common.
