The Supreme Court of British Columbia gave final approval for Hut 8 to merge with US Bitcoin (USBTC).

The merger will form a new publicly traded company called Hut 8 Corporation or "New Hut".

New Hut plans to list on Nasdaq and Toronto stock exchanges under the ticker HUT.

The merger still needs approval from USBTC shareholders among other requirements.

New Hut expects the final transaction to complete before end of 2023.
