Google Moves Assistant Notes and Lists to Keep, Showing Shifting Focus

Google is moving shopping lists and notes from Google Assistant to Google Keep, reversing a change made in 2017.

Keep is a better place for notes than Assistant, but raises concerns about relying too much on a Google product they may abandon.

Notes and lists in Assistant will automatically transfer to Keep, except very long/large ones.

Reminders are also moving from Assistant to Google Tasks.

This shows Assistant is losing focus as Google pursues other AI projects, though Keep should gain AI-powered features.
