FSIS Warns Consumers of Underprocessed Canned Spam Classic Sold at Texas HEB Stores

FSIS issued a public health alert for canned Spam Classic due to possible underprocessing.

The affected product was shipped to HEB stores in Texas in August 2023.

FSIS is concerned the product may be in consumers' homes and advises it not be eaten.

Consumers can contact Hormel Foods or USDA with any questions.

The alert was issued after Hormel reported shipping potentially underprocessed canned meat.
