Fetterman Seeks to Strip Menendez of Committees Over Corruption Charges

Sen. John Fetterman introduced a resolution to strip Sen. Bob Menendez of committee assignments and bar his access to classified information.

The resolution targets senators indicted for crimes affecting national security.

Fetterman appeared to take aim at Menendez, accused of accepting bribes and conspiring to act as a foreign agent.

Fetterman called for Menendez to resign in September and was the first Democratic senator to do so.

Menendez attended a classified Ukraine briefing and said accusations don't prove anything, he has security credentials.
