Fairview Health Services Cuts 250 Positions, Less Than 1% of Workforce, Due to Industry Pressures

Fairview Health Services is eliminating 250 positions across the organization, less than 1% of its workforce.

The cuts are due to "tremendous pressures" hospitals face and to align the workforce with evolving priorities.

Most eliminated positions are not full-time roles.

Affected employees will receive support like retraining and job search assistance.

Fairview operates 10 hospitals, 48 clinics, and several specialty clinics in Minnesota with over 32,000 employees.
