Steele Warns Republicans: Denounce Violent Rhetoric or You'll Become Targets Too

Former RNC chair Michael Steele warned Republicans who don't denounce violent rhetoric that they'll become targets too.

Steele said on MSNBC that the vitriol will eventually "come for you too" if Republicans think they're immune by being close to it.

Steele and MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace discussed the escalation in threatening language by Trump and others.

Steele said Republicans like the violent rhetoric because it "fuels the energy around the base."

Republicans can improve the environment at any moment but choose not to, Steele said.
