Boebert Blames Regulations for Closure of Her Gun-Themed Restaurant

Rep. Lauren Boebert said her district has "been regulated into poverty" and blamed regulations for her restaurant closing.

Boebert owned Shooters Grill in Rifle, Colorado until last year when it closed after the landlord didn't renew the lease.

Boebert claimed roughnecks used to come to her restaurant when there was more oil and gas drilling.

Shooters Grill waitresses carried guns and served gun-themed food like "Shotgun" burritos.

Boebert introduced a proposal to prevent restrictions on oil and gas leases on federal land in Colorado.
