AMD Q3 Revenue Up 4% Year-Over-Year to $5.8B; Data Center Flat but Client Soars on Ryzen Sales

    • AMD reported Q3 2023 revenue of $5.8 billion, up 4% year-over-year. Non-GAAP gross margin was 51% and non-GAAP earnings per share was $0.70.

    • Data center revenue was $1.6 billion, flat year-over-year. Client revenue grew 42% driven by Ryzen mobile processors.

    • Gaming revenue declined 8% to $1.5 billion due to lower semi-custom revenue, partially offset by higher AMD Radeon GPU sales.

    • AMD launched new Ryzen 7000 desktop and mobile processors, Radeon 7000 series GPUs, and expanded its EPYC data center CPU portfolio.

    • For Q4 2023, AMD expects revenue of approximately $6.1 billion, up 9% year-over-year. Non-GAAP gross margin is expected to be 51.5%.
