Airbnb Beats Q3 Estimates But Gives Weak Q4 Outlook

Airbnb reported Q3 earnings and revenue that topped analyst estimates, but gave weak Q4 guidance.

Q3 earnings were $6.63 per share vs $2.11 expected. Revenue was $3.4 billion vs $3.37 billion expected.

Airbnb said Q3 gross booking value rose 17% year-over-year to $18.3 billion, exceeding estimates.

For Q4, Airbnb forecast revenue of $2.15 billion, below expectations of $2.18 billion.

Airbnb said it is "closely monitoring macroeconomic trends and geopolitical conflicts that may impact travel demand."
