Microsoft rolls out new Windows 11 update with AI, Teams chat features and interface tweaks

Microsoft released a new minor Windows 11 update on Tuesday with AI and passwordless features.

The update renames the Chat app to Microsoft Teams with a compact interface for communication.

Teams now allows sending/receiving texts and syncing contacts within the app.

Apps labeled as "system" will now have a "system" tag in the Start menu and Settings.

Overall this update brings minor enhancements on top of the major Copilot AI features from September.
