Warren Gains Bipartisan Support for Crypto Regulation Bill to Curb Money Laundering

The bipartisan Digital Asset Anti-Money Laundering Act aims to regulate noncustodial wallets and expand anti-money laundering rules.

Warren believes there is a $50 billion crypto tax gap, with the IRS missing out on billions in potential tax revenue.

The bill has support from law enforcement, consumer protection, and transparency groups.

Warren reintroduced an updated version of the bill in July 2022 with senators from both parties.
